MENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN

This position is responsible for delivery patient care services, contribute to treatment plans, support development, customer service and community relations activities.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1-2 years previous experience in behavioral healthcare setting.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have High School Diploma/GED PLUS a minimum of twelve (12) college credits to be considered for this position. Bachelors Degree in Psychology or related field preferred. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated computer literacy required.

HOURS: Per Diem (Mostly evening and night). Minimum requirement to remain active in per diem pool is five (5) shifts per month, including every other weekend and one summer and winter holiday.

SOCIAL WORKER

This position facilitates and coordinates the care of patients to promote quality clinical and cost-effective outcomes. Working with multiple treatment modalities, performs individual, family and group therapy and assessments; implements case management functions including the oversight of the discharge and after-care planning; obtains authorization for appropriate services. As a member of the treatment team, this position participates in the treatment planning, development and overall implementation of therapeutic services.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: Minimum one year direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health treatment setting with demonstrated knowledge of population-specific developmental and social needs. Experience in Utilization Management; communication with external review organizations preferred.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: MSW or other applicable behavioral health discipline; LCSW preferred.

HOURS: Monday-Friday, 4 hour shifts, with some scheduling flexibility.
